He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Stapleforte Neild and Mabel Spicer Neild; his wife Ann; and his sons, William "Bill" Keene Neild, Sr. and John Richard "Rick" Neild.
He is survived by: his son Thomas L. Neild, Sr. (Lisa) of Taylors Islands; and his daughters-in-law, Angel Neild of Taylors Island and Teresa Neild of Baltimore. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
