He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Plummer and Sadie Calloway Plummer; his wife Norma F. Plummer; his grandson Christopher Alan Plummer; his siblings-in-law, Edward Robinette, Vernon Nethkin and Shirley Cole; and his sibling's children, Brian Nethkin and Debbie Nethkin Devan.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Lynn Plummer; his sisters, Patricia Robinette and Gloria Nethkin; his sister-in-law Margie Byrd (Marshall); his caregiver Dena Wanex; and his daughter Kimberly James. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home (308 High St, Cambridge, MD 21613). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elks Lodge #1272 (5464 Elks Lodge Rd, Cambridge, MD 21613).
