She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin H. Elzey and Cecilia Wallace Elzey; her spouse Sidney Bennett; and her siblings, Lavinia "Jeannie" Insley, Prettyman Elzey, Wallace Elzey, Albury "Tootsie" Elzey, Harry Elzey and Allen Elzey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Peggy Ruark of Cambridge, Florence Elzey of Cambridge and William O. "Bud" Elzey (Dottie) of Cambridge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
