It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel M. Cannon of Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Warfield and Evelyn Leona Hubbard Warfield; her husband Omar Cannon, Sr.; her children, Omar Cannon, Jr. and Emma May Elzey; and her siblings, Leroy Warfield, Delmas Warfield, Loretta Elzey, Blanche Sanger and Margaret Warfield.

She is survived by : her children, Charles Calvert Warfield (Clara), Jeannie Smith (Bunky), Billy Cannon, Sr. (Bonnie), Carol Elizabeth Seward (Billy), David Lee Cannon (Patti) and James Ricky Cannon (Christine); and her brothers, Raymond Warfield, Alvin Warfield and Paul Warfield. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
