He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Woolfolk and Caroline Woolfolk. He is survived by: his children, Jessica LeCompte (Sam), Sarah Lyons (James) and Richard Woolfolk, Jr.; his grandchildren, Sam, Jack, Wes and Meadow; and his brother W. David Woolfolk (Emily).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Church (601 Church St, Cambridge, MD 21613). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the VFW Post 7460.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributing to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
