Robert L. Hanson Obituary
We announce the death of Robert L. Hanson of Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hanson and Elizabeth Abbott; and his daughter Shannon Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Cathy of Cambridge; his children, Meredith, Scott (Michele) and Lucas (Heather); his grandchildren, Landon, Lily, Ledger and Nash; his brothers, David Peterson (Shirley) of Woodbine, GA and Richard Peterson of Cary, NC; and his stepsister Patsy Creighton of Cambridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (1214 S Washington St, Easton, MD 21601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
