She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Boykin and Elizabeth Baker-Boykin; her husband James; her children, Trina, Marvin, Vernon and Rodney Boykin; her great grandchild Meagan Boykin; and her siblings, Robert, Henry, Jean, Jeanette and Aretha.
She is survived by: her siblings, Edward (Carol), Jerry, Mary, Joanna, Alice (Randy) and Lois; her daughter-in-law Stacy Boykin; her grandsons, William De'von Boykin, Sr. (LaToya), Isaiah Boykin and Jharrod Armstrong; and her great grandchildren, William De'von Boykin, Jr., Blair Boykin, Ah'Kili Boykin and Asaadi Boykin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and cherished friends.
