We announce the death of Janette Robin Dee Overton of Capitol Heights, Maryland, who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 65. She was predeceased by: her parent Evelyn Brown; her grandparents, Blanche B. Cashmeire and Norman Moore; her adoptive parents, Dorothy Overton and Dorsey Overton; her brother Ricardo Brown; her nephew Antonio Smalls; and her close friend Betty Jean Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, LaCorey, William and Jarrod Overton; her siblings, Chris Brewington (Nancy) of Smithfield, VA, Roderick Overton, Antonio Brown, Michael Jacobs, Sharon Matheny, Teresa Smalls and Tarita Lewis; her cousins, Gladyn and Elizabeth Sharp; her friend Sybil Stubbs; and her close friend Eric Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephew, cousins.
