With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roy P. Sanders of Cascade, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford G. Sanders and Geneva G. Sanders (Harbaugh); his grandson Andrew Yarish; and his siblings, Mary Meek, Robert Sanders and Francis Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Dollie Buhrman Sanders; his daughters, Rosalie Sanders-Luke (Bryan) of Cascade, MD, Kathleen Yarish (Mark) of Chambersburg, PA and Julie Sanders of Cascade, MD; his grandchildren, Mary Katherine, Caroline and Joseph Yarish; and his daughter Bryanna Luke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Germantown Church of God (16924 Raven Rock Rd, Sabillasville, MD 21719). The military honors was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bethel Church Cemetery (16924 Raven Rock Rd, Sabillasville, MD 21719).
