She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Emmett and Anne Carney (Murray); her husband James G. Brown (Jim); her brother Robert E. Carney, Jr.; and her nephews, Thomas Buetow and Christopher Carney.
She is survived by : her sister Dr. M. Kathleen Buetow of Champaign, IL; and her nieces and nephews, Katherine Branson (Daniel) of St. Joseph, IL, Michael Buetow (Catherine) of Amesbury, MA, Ellen Buetow of Urbana, IL, Robert Carney (Kimberly) of Pasadena, MD, Anne Carney (David Wennberg) of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Dr. Daniel Carney (Michelle) of York, PA, John Carney (Rebecca) of Ellicott City, MD and David Carney (Michele) of Washington, DC. She is also survived by numerous grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews.
