He was predeceased by: his grandson Patrick Edwards; his parents, Joseph Fred Edwards and Emma Inez Edwards; and his siblings, Edwin Edwards (Edna), Dale Edwards (Dolly) and Fern Moyers (Gene).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Wiles Edwards; his children, Bob (Maureen), Dan (Ann) and Susan; his grandchildren, Matt, Christopher, Heather (Vaughn), Katie, Mary (Adam), Becka (Dylan), Tim and Courtney; and his great grandchildren, Kimberlie, Caroline, Emerson and Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glen Mar Church.
