She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Ehlers and Hazel Ehlers; and her sister Connie Freeman. She is survived by: her children, John Paul Leatherbury, III (Sue McClain) and Kim Ferrara; her grandchildren, Kurt Ferrara (Lindsay), Frederick Leatherbury (Rebecca Kazor) and Allison Leatherbury; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Whit and Everett; her nephew Chip Bartley (Buffy); and her cousin Sandra Mennerick.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in Beverly's name to Gilchrist Hospice (https://gilchristcares.org).
