He is survived by: his children, Keith Nelson (Hala), Stacy Levery (Robert), Alan Nelson (Betsy) and Timothy Nelson; his grandchildren, Kaleb Levery, Declan Levery and Sary Alcala Shehadeh; his siblings, Mary Kuznicki (Ray), Wayne Nelson (Jane) and Elaine Nelson; and his sister-in-law Judi McGinley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
