It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol McCanna of Catonsville, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 82, on June 11, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Colton and Earl Colton; her husband Lawrence McCanna; her daughter Katherine Glynn; her son-in-law Jim; her grandchildren, Casey, Miles McCanna, Patrick, Lucas Glynn, Rachel and Jamie Pieper; and also Patrick.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ann Bartlett (John) and Barbara Dontell (Nick); and her sister-in-law Margaret. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church (711 Maiden Choice Ln, Catonsville, MD 21228). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Calendar St. Augustine Church (5976 Old Washington Rd, Elkridge, MD 21075).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carol's memory to The Gilchrist Foundation, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
