He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Roberts and Mark Roberts; and his sister Jeanne Chalk. He is survived by: his wife Janis Roberts; his children, Heather Roberts Fox (Paul), Michael Fitz-Roy Roberts and Nicholas Lee Zoll (Joy); his stepbrother Donald Haynes (Jacqueline); and his grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Fox.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville (1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made in Howard's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
