In the vast expanse of eternity, John Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his siblings, James (Kathy) of Elkridge, Suzanne (Greg Moyer) of Mamaroneck, NY, Tom (Nitaya Srisook) of Catonsville, Duane (Anne) of Malvern, PA and Mary Matejka (Bob) of Baltimore. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 13 grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to this remarkable facility, the William L. and Victoria Adams Gilchrist Center at 1060 E. 33rd Street, Baltimore, MD 21218.
