We announce the death of Kenneth Anthony Songy of Catonsville, Maryland, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoine (Pennie Songy) and Ken; his wife Shari (Shari) of Monroe; and his brothers, Gerald (Rose) and Lawrence (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Tomaszewski (Steve), Kenneth, Jr. (Brenda) and Stephen (Georgeann); and his siblings, Richard (Gena) and Dorothy Miano (Samuel). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church (711 Maiden Choice Ln, Catonsville, MD 21228). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
