She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. James Howell and Mary Howell; and her husband Dr. George Franklin Buchness. She is survived by: her son George, Jr. (James Ridgely "Lee" Buchness); her grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer), Brett (Dana), Brendan (Megan), Meaghan, Andrew and Matthew Buchness; and her great grandchildren, Blair, Loulou and Emerson Buchness.
