He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin D. Edwards and Lula V. Vansant Edwards; and his brother Billy Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Edwards of Rock Hall; his sons, James Ronald Edwards (Bonnie) and Franklin Dolan Edwards (Susan); his grandchildren, Jenna Edwards, Claire Edwards Frazier (Matthew), Jacob Edwards (Melissa), Jordan Edwards and Colby Usilton (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Logan Edwards, Lowan and Riggs Usilton; and his siblings, Charles Edwards (Donna) and Kay Lochary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
