He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Houtz; his children, Kenneth L. Houtz (Pam) and Michelle Hornberger (Harry); and his grandchildren, Ashley Houtz, Katrina Halverson (Ian), Chrissie Kessler (Wyatt), Joshua Hornberger (Megan) and Dylan Hornberger. He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Compass Hospice or Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.
