He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles William Rider and Anna Virginia Rider (Green); his wife Maela; his son Thomas; his stepchildren, Bernard (Melanie) and Marisa; his grandchildren, Félipa, Hudson, Emilian, Chandler and Finley; and his brother Charles (Beverly).
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Home (408 S Liberty St, Centreville, MD 21617).
