With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Lewis Buettner Sr. of Centreville, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Peggy June Buettner (Edwards); his parents, John G. Buettner and Virginia E. Buettner; his grandfather William; and his daughter Robin Shaw.

He is survived by : his children, Karin (Neil Grasso), Cassandra (Michael Forcucci), René (Edward Kratzke), William Buettner, Jr. (Marilee Tortorelli), Mary (Robert Styron) and John (Rita Buettner). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
