We are sad to announce that, on November 21, 2025, at the age of 74, Charles R. Hahn of Charlestown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Charles' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charles has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Martin and Mary Elizabeth Hahn (New). He is survived by: his wife Valerie Shockley; and his siblings, Virginia Chaffinch (Lawrence) of Butler, TN, Phyllis Estepp (James) of Gray, TN and David Hahn (Mari) of Huntington Station, NY. He is also survived by 9 nieces and 5 nephews, and 11 grandnieces and 7 grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Charlie's spirit of generosity by donating to a food bank or a charity serving those in need.
