He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Robert Adkins and Dorothy Frances "Tootie" Adkins (Hart); and his sister Barbara Harris. He is survived by: his wife Betty Adkins (Rust); his children, Denise Quesenbery (John), Paula Mosley (Emmitt) and Dwayne Kisner (Sandy); his grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Luke, Emmitt Jr., Matt, Michelle, Kathleen and Timothy; his great grandchildren, Connor and Dalton; his siblings, Harley R. Adkins, Wanda Green (Will), Mark Adkins and Aletha Bobb; his friends, Joe McKinney and Jason Biggs; and his family, Dave Simpers and Sambo Perkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews.
