He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony Huntt and Catherine Louise Langely. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Canter Huntt; his sons, Joseph Huntt Jr. (Darlene) of Waldorf, MD, Timothy Huntt (Yvonne) of Bryans Road, MD and Barry Huntt of Marbury, MD; his stepchildren, Diane Johnson of Hollywood, MD and Garry Johnson (Sandie) of Mechanicsville, MD; and his siblings, Shirley Mae Scott (Louis), Mary "Jean" Coombs (Howard), Elizabeth Louise "Betty" Cooksey (Warren), Robert Keith "Bo" Huntt (Betty), Helena "Ann" Coombs and James Allison "Jimmy" Huntt (Cecily). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
