He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Albert Herr and Dora Vinci; his wife Catherine Diane (Trawinski); his sister Carol Ann Miller (Herr); and his brother-in-law Thomas E. Queen.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Marie Malle (Ken Nickols); his granddaughter Emily Catherine Malle; his children, Jennifer Lynn Erdman (Justin Erdman) and Lucas Dean Erdman; his siblings, Rose Queen and Donald Herr (Debbie); his siblings-in-law, Steven Spencer (Michelle Viramontes) and Sheri Spencer; and his niece Olivia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
