He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eric Durner and Barbara Durner (Dye). He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Swann; his daughter Laura Jeanette Gustafson of Charlotte Hall, MD; his son-in-law Jeff Gustafson; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Ava and Isla.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kurt's memory to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society, causes close to his heart.
