With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggie Hampton (Cheltenham, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Peggie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Peggie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelia Watkins (Lee) and Otis Watkins; her son Timothy; her husband Charles Hampton; and her sisters, Deloris and Margaretta.
She is survived by: her son Ivan (Tosha); her sister Gloria (Jack); and her grandchildren, Cierra (Brandon), Thomas, Timothy and Tyler. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
