Anna S. Riggins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 95, Anna S. Riggins of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna S. Riggins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spohn and Edna Spohn (Knode); her husband Robert Riggins; her daughters, Virginia Spitler and Arlene Shanaberger; her grandsons, Scott and Daniel Dabbondanza; her siblings, George, William, Martin, Raymond Spohn, Mary Lemmerman, Irene Sterner and Virginia Conroy; and her son-in-law Dolan Spitler.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Livermore (Anthony) of Gettysburg, PA, Deborah Riggins of Acton, MA and Richard Riggins of Chesapeake Beach. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna's name can be made to the Forestville Volunteer Fire Department, honoring a family connection and community that meant so much to her.
