He was predeceased by: his parents, Daphne Donovan and Fred Donovan; his granddaughter Addison Donovan; and his son Ricky O'Dell. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Donovan of Chesapeake Beach; his children, Wesley (Julie) of Dunkirk, Ryan (Erik) of New York City, Roger O'Dell of Drum Point, Mary Lanham (Mike) of Dunkirk and Veronica Fleming (Ricky) of Flinton, Pennsylvania.; his siblings, Joan Kilmon of Huntingtown, Gail Harkins of Chesapeake Beach, Diane Harrison (Griffith) of Huntingtown and Freddie Donovan (Carol) of Chesapeake Beach; and his great grandchild Gerald.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to One Breath at a Time, Inc.'s Butterfly House, which provides room and board for families during the lung transplant process.

“Gerald was a very dear friend of my Dad Henry Inabinett and my Mom Rose. When my Dad died the second person that I called was Gerald. It was 2 AM in the morning but he didn't care. He spoke at my Father's funeral and it was a honor. We will miss him dearly and send our deepest condolences to his wife Mary and his family. I do promise you this, when he got to heaven, my dad was there to welcome him. May Gerald rest in peace. Sincerely Timothy, Rose and Becky Inabinett.”
