She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Thomas Sr.; her parents, Raymond Lyons Sr. and Rose Lyons; and her siblings, Raymond Lyons Jr. and Marie Dorsey.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence "Larry" Thomas, Colleen Latvala (Dirk) and James "Jim" Thomas (Marcy); and her grandchildren, Andrew Thomas (Allison), April Penn (Mike), Sarah Sadlek (Nate), Tyler Latvala (Michelle), Branden Latvala, Logan Latvala, Emily Latvala and Joshua Thomas. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1601 W Mount Harmony Rd, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
