It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean Leidig of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Leidig and Dorothy Leidig (Finch); her siblings, Linda Leidig, Celia Schmidt, Joyal Crain, Marvel Boston and Lonnie Leidig; her brothers-in-law, Bill Shorman, Ernest Scheetz and Bob Boston; and her nibling Maceo Leatherwood Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Maceo Leatherwood of Chesapeake Beach, MD; her children, Vanita Leatherwood (Donna) and Rodney Mullens (Janice); and her siblings, Carol Shorman, Green Zetta Scheetz (KS), Fairbury (NE), Jerry Leidig (Sue) and Salina (KS). She is also survived by twenty-five nieces & nephews, many dear friends.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
