Joseph C. Biggs Obituary

We announce the death of Joseph C. Biggs of Chesapeake City, Maryland, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 76. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Biggs and Cordella Biggs; and his siblings, John Biggs and Carol Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Anna Biggs; his children, Lisa Walmsley (Heath), Rae Patchell (Craig) and Allen Biggs; his grandchildren, Kersha Haden, Joeanna Kennedy, Sean Meekins and Alexis Biggs; his brother Russell Biggs, Jr.; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. T. Foard Funeral Home (318 George St, Chesapeake City, MD 21915). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Bethel Cemetery (312 Bethel Cemetery Rd, Chesapeake City, MD 21915).
