With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlin Eugene Messersmith of Chester, Maryland, who passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlin Eugene Messersmith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosco Messersmith and Selina Messersmith (O'Neil); and his former wife Geraldine. He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Allen, Sheila (Gene), Glen (Lori), Kevin (Brenda) and Arlin Jr. (Theresa); and his grandchildren, CJ, Ciara, Candice, Nina, Melissa, Madalyn, Savanah, Jeremy, Kevin Jr., Justin and Seth. He is also survived by two stepsons and one stepdaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arlin's honor to Compass Regional Hospice at:255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617 (Queen Anne's County).
