He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Criss and Lois Criss; his wife Sally Anne Criss; his daughter Ellen Leever; and his grandson Brandon Clowser.

He is survived by : his daughters, Margaret Milhorn (Maggie) and Sarah Clowser; his grandchildren, Brian Clowser Jr., Christopher Milhorn, Jordan Milhorn and Logan Milhorn; his great grandchildren, Kamdyn Milhorn and Kynslee Milhorn; his sister Jan Averitt; and his niece Kim Drury.
