With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Louise Etgen (Chester, Maryland), born in Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Though Marie Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Raymond (Laura) and Peter Marchetti (Bonnie). She is survived by: her husband Jim Etgen; her children, Ken (Wanda), Trish (Mike), Rob (Suzanne), Lou (Cindy), John (Cheryl) and Paul; and her sister Lena Donnini (Marchetti) of Richmond. She is also survived by grandmother to her 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, her 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
