He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kopf, (Tyson) and Paul P. Kopf, Sr.; his wife Myra Malley; his grandson Devin Hussey; and his brother Bob Kopf.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Aster (Jeffrey), Kathy Costello (Jim) and Karen Hussey (JP); his grandchildren, Kevin Costello (Lauren), Kelly Freedy (Rob), Sara Baylis (Brad), Erica Gibbons (Ronnie) and Laura Hussey; his great grandchildren, Ella, Charlie, Patton, Everly and Owen; and his sister Dot Munns. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and inlaws.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center (CBEC) 600 Discovery Lane Grasonville, MD 21638 to help preserve the waterways he loved to share with others.
