He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ballard and Helen Ballard; his brothers, Lester Ballard and Gary Ballard; his brother-in-law Gary Cooper; his nephew Matthew Cooper; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Margaret Horty; and his sister-in-law Susan Horty.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Horty; his children, Brian, Brent (Carly) and Brittany (Brad); his grandchildren, Brooks, Milo, Florence, Simon and Beau; his sister Beverly Cooper; his sister-in-law Barbara Ballard; his sister Lesley Todd (Mark); and his brothers-in-law, Joe Horty (Cheryl), Tony and Pat Horty (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newnam Funeral Home (106 Shamrock Rd, Chester, MD 21619). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
