He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Heaps; his children, Lindsay Warren (Will) and Charles William Heaps III; and his grandchildren, Amy Ruth Heaps, William Charles Warren Jr., Sarah Louise Heaps and Peter Wilson Warren.
