It is with sadness that the passing of Claire Susan Fordi (Chestertown, Maryland) is shared. Claire, born on July 14, 1938, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Kevin Dwyer and Claire Dwyer (Cussen); her grandson Alex Bertodatti; and her husband Paul Fordi. She is survived by: her daughter Liz Rechnitz (Adam Rechnitz); her grandchild Esme; her son Bob Fordi (Hillary Caldwell); her grandchildren, Susie and James; her grandchild-in-law Rani Gutting; her grandchildren, Ada, Hillary and Jack Fordi (Heidi); her great grandchildren, Ellie and Max; her grandchild Risa Bertodatti (Richard Bertodatti); and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Mia and Henry.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley Hall (501 E Campus Ave, Chestertown, MD 21620).
