It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Rudolph James Ringgold (Chestertown, Maryland), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ringgold and Annie Ringgold (Hines); his wife Rosalie Betty Tilghman; and his siblings, Elsie Mae Jeffers, Linwood "Dick" Ringgold and Rockwell "Fred" Ringgold.
He is survived by: his brother Rudolph; his siblings-in-law, Bishop Charles Tilghman (Shirley), Lucille, Maude, Valentina, Dorothy (Walter) and Thelma; Elsie Mae Ringgold Jeffers (Sis). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, cousins.
