As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Frances may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Long and Mary Frances Long (Foreman); her son Ronald Hepbron Gill (Charles Henry Gill); and her grandson Raymond Henry Gill, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Charles Raymond Gill (Gayle); her grandson Robert Gill (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Raymond H. Gill, Jr., Harper Gill and Michael Gill.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home (130 Speer Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church (401 High St, Chestertown, MD 21620).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Compass Regional Hospice.
