We bid farewell to Katherine Ellen Wright of Chestertown, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 8, 2025 at the age of 70. Katherine Ellen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ashley Joseph Stairs, Sr. and Mary Jeanette Kahl Emmerson; her brothers, Ashley J. Stairs, Jr. and Stephen Stairs; and her nephew Ashley J. Stairs, III.
She is survived by: her husband Warren Wright; her siblings, Carol Sturdivant (Ron) and Michael Stairs; her son Jeremy D. Morrissette (Michele) of Sudlersville; her stepdaughter Elizabeth Carr (Mark) of Church Hill; her grandchildren, Jay Carr, Marissa Morrissette, Andrew Carr, Kaitlyn Morrissette, Lyndsie Carr Bacchus (Alex), Nicholas Morrissette and Sydnee Carr; and her great grandchildren, Layton and Loxley Bacchus.
