He was predeceased by: his wife Jane M. Scalzo; his son Frank V. Scalzo; and his grandchildren, James Sottnick and T. J. Becker. He is survived by: his close friend Sydney Bortner; his children, Edward S. Scalzo (Susan), Donna M. Becker (Timothy) and Gina Jachimowicz (David); and his grandchildren, Kristopher Sottnick (Kara), Dillon Scalzo (Maribel), Shane Becker (Vanessa), Clayton Scalzo, Brittani Fahrman (Michael), Miranda Scalzo, Jordan Jachimowicz, Brynne Jachimowicz and Jane Scalzo.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery (301 Lock St, Chesapeake City, MD 21915).
