He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert A. Knapp Sr. and Zoa Ann Porter Beasley; his stepfathers, Kenneth R. Beasley and Howard "Buddy" Redman Jr.; his brother Robert Knapp Jr. (Jeanette Knapp); his children, Ashley Knapp (Mike Plummer), Zachary Knapp (Francesca Knapp) and Cameron Knapp; and his grandchildren, MJ and Ella. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
