Anne Elizabeth Strahota Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Elizabeth Strahota of Chevy Chase, Maryland, who passed away on April 8, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Aloysius Slavic and Hilda Charlotte Coons; her sister Mary Slavic; and her niece Claudia Slavic. She is survived by: her husband Robert Duff Strahota; her children, Jeffrey Strahota (Mollie Grover) of Rockville, MD, Hilary Strahota of Washington, DC and James Strahota of Chevy Chase, MD.; and her sisters, Eleanor Bobbitt (Thomas Bobbitt) of Williamsburg, VA and Jeanne DeGrandis of Vero Beach, FL. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Father McKenna Center or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
