She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Harry Adams Dawson, III and Polly Serpan; her parents, Harry Adams Dawson, Jr. and Helen Hendricks Dawson; her friend Debbie North; her husband Robert Shoemaker (Bob); her children, Jenny and Scott; her grandchild Kelly; her former husband Charles Tenen; her children, Jennifer Levine and Robert Shoemaker (Scott); her children-in-law, Heather Shoemaker and Matt Stevens; her sister Helen Reichenbach (Sissy); her grandchildren, Sarah Levine, Emily Levine, Madison Ikels, Jaxson Shoemaker, Ashley Stevens and Brady Stevens; her son Steve; Brian Levine.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chevy Chase United Methodist Church (7001 Connecticut Ave, Chevy Chase, MD 20815-4998). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
