He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Economos; and his parents, Christos Economos and Maria Economos. He is survived by: his children, Betsy and James; his children-in-law, Doug, Anastasia and Laura; and his grandchildren, Orlando "Harry" (Kira), Irini, Gabrielle and Niko.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral (2815 36th St NW, Washington, DC 20007). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
