He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Emmet and Dorothy. He is survived by: his brother James; his wife Barbara (Gilvey); his children, Greg (Kate), Mark (Erin), Megan Webster (Dave) and Sara Andrews (Ian); and his grandchildren, Emma, Reilly, Fiona, Chloe, Grace, Luke, Lily, Abigail, Bo and Colin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament (5949 Western Ave, Washington, DC 20015). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
