It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret C. Martin of Chewsville, Maryland, who passed away on February 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis H. Longnecker and Barbara Hartle Longnecker; and her siblings, Phillip A. Longnecker and Connie Jean Wiles. She is survived by: her children, Bill Gardenhour Smithsburg (Julia), Susan Gardenhour Mackert (Jack) of Florida and Mitch Gardehhour Smithsburg (Michele); her grandchildren, Sawyer Gardenhour, Zane Gardenhour, Garrett Gardenhour and Kenedy Gardenhour; and her niece Barbara Dagenhart. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is offering qualified families up to $9, 000 for funeral expenses incurred due to the death of a loved one from COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused immense grief for so many people.
